Who are you putting your expectation in? It shouldn't be in anyone else but the Lord. Micah 7:7. Psalm 62:5. We shouldn't write off our children, spouse or parents because they don't meet your expectations. We need to be understanding and also learn how to say sorry.

Rest

Exodus 33:14, Hebrews 13:5

People are tired, weary and stressed out because they are not spending time in the presence of the Lord. Exodus 33:14. He is the only One Who can give us rest, we will not find it anywhere else. Hebrews 13:5. We need to put God first and spend time with Him.

Lukewarm

Matthew 12:30, Revelation 3:16

We cannot serve two masters. Matthew 12:30. We are either for God or against Him. Revelation 3:16. We need to make up our minds as to whether we are going to serve the Lord or the world. God would rather that we be hot or cold, than lukewarm.

In His hands

Matthew 6:33

Are you stressing? Matthew 6:33. If we are not going to trust in the Lord, then we are not going to make it. God says that if we seek Him first, that He will take care of everything else. Trust the Lord for what you need today and then leave it in His hands.
