It took Uncle Angus 32 years to find The Pearl of Great Price. Matthew 13:45-46; Mark 8:36. That Pearl is Jesus Christ. No matter who you are or how old you are you need to find that Pearl in your lifetime. We need to be willing to give it all up for Him, as He did for us when He died for us. Revelations 3:20. He knocks on the door of our hearts asking if He can come in.

Know Him

John 17:3, John 3:16, Isaiah 53:11

Isaiah 53:11. John 17:3. John 3:16. Jesus paid for your debt and my debt in full. He has taken all our sin upon Himself so that we can go free, but we need to repent of our sins and follow Him with our whole hearts. We need to get our lives right and make sure that we really know Him, because Jesus is coming soon.

No excuses

Matthew 7:16

Holiness is the end product of obedience. We will face the Lord one day, it is important that the Lord will know us on that day. We will be known by our fruits, by our lifestyle, not merely by what we say. If we love God, then we will obey His commandments, His will.

Honour our elders

Exodus 20:12

Exodus 20:12. God commands us to honour our parents. This is the first commandment in the Bible that comes with a promise. Respect them, ask God to give you a love for them and be patient with them.
