One of the things identified in George Barna’s research is that a small percentage (only 18%) of millennials believe that the primary purpose of life is to know, love, and serve God, which is the essence of true a genuine Christians purpose in life. Yet 60% (which is the largest response in the categories) surveyed believe that “God loves me unconditionally”, with 57% (the second highest percentage) saying they have a unique calling or purpose from God. How do we reconcile these extreme positions which appear totally contradictory?
