Prayer can be powerful – and God wants us to pray, but, He demands that it be done His way – a clean heart, according to God’s will and praying with faith believing! How often do we come to God in prayer but don’t really expect Him to answer? Hello, I’m Sam Rohrer, President of the American Pastors Network. At APN, we place great value on prayer – because God does. Christ said in Matt 21: 22, “..whatsoever you ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.”. Christ told His disciples, when you pray in faith – truly believing God that can answer, you can do great things -- even move mountains! The opposite is also true. Little faith, little power. Sometimes we don’t see answers to prayer because we don’t really believe God can or will answer. From now on, let’s pray in power, clean, obedient and in faith believing because God can and will answer according to His will just like He promised – even move the mountains.

Transcript: For the unbeliever, the events of the last days are frightful, painful and full of death and judgment. But for the Believer, evidence of the last Days guarantees Christ’s soon return and His soon reign of Christ on earth for a thousand years. Hello, I’m Sam Rohrer with another Stand in the Gap Minute. This week, we’ve looked at the some of the ways God has called us to respond to the signs of the last days. Scripture calls us to be prepared, to live with joy, to have an eternal perspective, and to share our faith with others. First Thessalonians 4:18 ends a section of Scripture discussing Christ’s any-moment coming. How does it conclude? Paul writes, “Therefore encourage one another with these words.” The signs of the times are designed as a warning for unbelievers and those living in sin, but they are an encouragement for those of us following the Lord. Transcript: When is the last time you have shared how Jesus changed your life with someone else? For many of us, it has been far too long, but Scripture challenges us to talk about our new life in Christ even more as we face the last days. As the apostle Paul addressed the struggles he faced, he taught in Acts 20:24, “I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.” Paul was changed from darkness to light and was willing to share his faith with others. Transcript: Do the negative headlines and actions around you get you down? If so, you’re not alone. Many feel troubled by the cares of this life, but Scripture offers a different response, teaching us to look up for Christ’s return. Hello, I’m Sam Rohrer with another Stand in the Gap Minute. In Revelation 22, the apostle John concluded his heavenly vision of the last days. He saw both the coming judgments and the ultimate outcome of Christ’s coming, along with the new heavens and the new earth. What was his response? He said, “Come, Lord Jesus!” As believers, we can face the struggles of the last days with an eternal perspective. Why? Because we know our final destination! Don’t live in discouragement today.
