When is the last time you have shared how Jesus changed your life with someone else? For many of us, it has been far too long, but Scripture challenges us to talk about our new life in Christ even more as we face the last days. Hello, I’m Sam Rohrer with another Stand in the Gap Minute. As the apostle Paul addressed the struggles he faced, he taught in Acts 20:24, “I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.” Paul was changed from darkness to light and was willing to share his faith with others. Transcript: Why has God left us in this world as believers? It’s because He has a plan for us, one that can impact all eternity. Hello, I’m Sam Rohrer with another Stand in the Gap Minute. If our only purpose in life was to believe in Jesus, there would be no reason for us to remain after our salvation. So why has Christ yet to return? 1 Peter 3:15 teaches we are to, “Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give a reason for the hope that you have.” Our primary mission in this life is the Great Commission, making disciples of all nations. We are to witness while we wait for Christ’s coming. We cannot give up or back down. Instead, we must be bold in proclaiming His salvation. Transcript: When you faced a big test at school when you were younger, your success depended on preparing for it. As the saying goes, failing to prepare is preparing to fail. How does this apply to our spiritual lives? Hello, I’m Sam Rohrer with another Stand in the Gap Minute. Scripture calls us in Matthew 24:42 to “keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.” Keeping watch, however, is an active command. We don’t sit around and do nothing. Instead, we are to be about our Father’s business. In a time when many are giving up in despair, believers are challenged to live for the Lord and to share His message of hope with all who will listen. Don’t fail to plan. Waiting on the Lord Series: Be Still and Know

Transcript: Our nation is filled with anxiety and stress. We face unprecedented times like endless pandemics, corrupt politics, and complicated personal lives. In times like these, how can we find peace in our relationship with God? Hello, I’m Sam Rohrer with another Stand in the Gap Minute. In Psalm 46:10, we are told to, “Be still, and know that I am God.” We often think of being still as being idle and inactive, yet this passage offers a different perspective. Instead of worry, we are challenged to reflect on God’s power and control of our lives. When we are weak, He is strong. When we face frightening waves, He controls the sea. Nothing is beyond His power. The Psalm ends with God being called our fortress. He protects us from harm, just as the hymn from the reformer Martin Luther wrote when he faced attack and wrote “A mighty fortress is our God.” Discover more at American Pastors Network dot net.
