April 8, 2021

Transcript:
This week, we’re looking at principles for spiritual victory. Recognizing the battle, knowing the enemy, and putting on the whole armor of God is essential. The strategy of Resisting the Devil and fleeing temptation comes next, but there’s more. Hello, I’m Sam Rohrer, host of Stand in the Gap Radio and TV with another Stand in the Gap Minute. Warning about evil people and their tactics Christ describes as ‘wolves’ in Matt 10:16 is also critical for every pastor, parent, and those in authority. The devil will work through wolves to destroy, persecute, and ravage the sheep. We see this in America today. So, pastor and Christian leader, when’s the last time you warned your people about a wolf? When’s the last time you stood on the wall and warned your people about the advancing enemy? When’s the last time you contended for the faith and warned about the false prophet as commanded by Jude? Signs of the Time Series: Encouraging Signs

May 3, 2024

Transcript: For the unbeliever, the events of the last days are frightful, painful and full of death and judgment. But for the Believer, evidence of the last Days guarantees Christ’s soon return and His soon reign of Christ on earth for a thousand years. Hello, I’m Sam Rohrer with another Stand in the Gap Minute. This week, we’ve looked at the some of the ways God has called us to respond to the signs of the last days. Scripture calls us to be prepared, to live with joy, to have an eternal perspective, and to share our faith with others. First Thessalonians 4:18 ends a section of Scripture discussing Christ’s any-moment coming. How does it conclude? Paul writes, “Therefore encourage one another with these words.” The signs of the times are designed as a warning for unbelievers and those living in sin, but they are an encouragement for those of us following the Lord. Signs of the Time Series: Witnessing More

May 2, 2024

Transcript: When is the last time you have shared how Jesus changed your life with someone else? For many of us, it has been far too long, but Scripture challenges us to talk about our new life in Christ even more as we face the last days. Hello, I’m Sam Rohrer with another Stand in the Gap Minute. As the apostle Paul addressed the struggles he faced, he taught in Acts 20:24, “I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.” Paul was changed from darkness to light and was willing to share his faith with others. God may place someone in your path today who needs to hear the story of how you have been changed, and how God can change them. Discover more at American Pastors Network dot net.

Signs of the Time Series: Looking Up

May 1, 2024

Transcript: Do the negative headlines and actions around you get you down? If so, you’re not alone. Many feel troubled by the cares of this life, but Scripture offers a different response, teaching us to look up for Christ’s return. Hello, I’m Sam Rohrer with another Stand in the Gap Minute. In Revelation 22, the apostle John concluded his heavenly vision of the last days. He saw both the coming judgments and the ultimate outcome of Christ’s coming, along with the new heavens and the new earth. What was his response? He said, “Come, Lord Jesus!” As believers, we can face the struggles of the last days with an eternal perspective. Why? Because we know our final destination! Don’t live in discouragement today. Look ahead, like John, to our future home in heaven. We may face discouragement, but God is with us, and will be with us for eternity. Discover more at American Pastors Network dot net.
