Fathering the Fatherless

July 14, 2019 • Sam Rohrer, Gary Dull, Dave Kistler, Tim Schneider

Almost 60 years ago, about one in ten children grew up without the physical presence of a father in the home. Today, the staggering reality is that one in three children are fatherless-with an absent, incarcerated, or deceased father. While we know the need for children to grow up with both a father and a mother is crucial to their physical, social, and spiritual health, the culture continues to rush headlong into the destruction of the family unit as we’ve known it since the beginning of creation. Hollywood and the media glorify the single Mom or Dad, the homosexual couple, and transgender children; but these lifestyles and choices don’t come without a price to pay. On this program, our guest, Tim Schneider, will give his testimony about how he grew up without a father and a dysfunctional mother. He’ll tell us about his difficult early years and the moment his life was changed through a local church ministry and the men and women who reached out to him with the gospel and a helping hand. Host: Sam Rohrer Co-host: Dr. Gary Dull

In the Defense of Life

August 11. 2019 • August 11, 2019 • San Rohrer, Gay Dull, Scott Klusendorf

The extreme left position of abortion on demand and death for babies who survive a failed abortion are indicative of a culture where the innocent and defenseless among us are disposable and valueless. This program discusses the Christian position that values each and every human being from the moment of conception until the moment of death. Scott Klusendorf, President of the Pro-Life Training institute, will present the biblical worldview that will help us better understand and defend the pro- life position. If you struggle to articulate why you’re pro-life, or if you’re not sure where you stand on certain situations like rape or incest, you’ll find this program to be immensely helpful. I’d invite you to stay tuned for this episode of Stand in the Gap Weekend we’ve titled, “In Defense of Life”.

Congresswomen Omar and Tlaib-A 'Squad’ or ‘Sleeper Cell?’

August 4, 2019 • August 4, 2019 • Sam Rohrer, Gary Dull, Dave Kistler, IQ al-Rassooli

Congresswomen-Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Ayanna Pressley and Rashida Tlaib, also known as ‘the Squad', have sparked numerous controversies with their anti-Trump, anti-Israel, and anti-American comments. Are these just their personal opinions or is there something more sinister at play? While it may seem that all the drama is just that, there are those who understand that the leftist, globalist, Marxist, and Islamic agenda is on the move-with its end goal to erase freedom and democracy as we know it here in the West. Our guest on this program is one of those people whose keen insights are helpful as we digest all that’s happening nationally and around the world. IQ al-Rassooli, former Muslim Imam, is going to tie it all together on this episode of Stand in the Gap Weekend.

Healthcare Freedom Update

July 28, 2019 • Sam Rohrer, Gary Dull, Dave Kistler, Twila Brase

Did you know that the HIPAA forms you usually sign at the doctor’s office don’t protect your privacy at all? In fact, it’s just the opposite. What you’re signing is your consent that you’ve been notified of the hospital or clinic’s privacy guidelines-a form you usually don’t take the time to read. In all actuality, the HIPAA laws are permissive, giving 2.2 million entities, plus government access to your medical records without your consent. Twila Brase, President and Founder of Citizen's Council for Health Freedom, is going to give us a healthcare freedom update from the perspective of an organization who’s dedicated to “protecting health care choices, individualized patient care and medical and genetic privacy rights.” Healthcare is at the top of the list when it comes to debatable issues in the 2020 Presidential election, and while it seems there are few answers to this dilemma we find ourselves in, this program will point you in the right direction and offer some real solutions and alternatives for us to pursue and inform our legislators and healthcare practitioners about.
