Transcript: Today’s Christmas the day chosen to remember the miraculous birth of Jesus Christ the Son of God, the Redeemer, the Promised Messiah, Yeshua. I’m Sam Rohrer with another Stand in the Gap Minute. As we today give or receive gifts, may we rise above the culture wide focus on things which burn up, wear out or fall apart. While the world focuses on things today which don’t last and mean little, may we who know Jesus Christ as Savior take this time to share with others the gift of greatest value and lay up treasure that last forever. This gift of God is not just a baby helpless in a manger, but God in the flesh, a fulfillment of God the Father’s love for the world and Redeemer Promised to all so that as God’s only begotten Son when whosoever trusts in Him they would have eternal life with Him. This same Jesus we celebrate today, is soon returning as King of all Kings. May we who’ve received God’s gift, prove it by living and sharing it.

Transcript: Our nation’s in trouble and we need God’s help this year. Sadly, most people look everywhere except to God- until it’s too late. Where are you looking? Hello, I’m Sam Rohrer, with another Stand in the Gap Minute. Until God’s people start and finish on their knees- in prayer- there’ll be no power. There’ll be no help. Power in prayer must be marked with a commitment to the obedience of God’s Word, a genuine attitude of humility and repentance, and a singular dependence on God alone. When people depend on organizations, they get what organizations can do. When people depend on people, they get what people can do. When people depend on government they get what government can do. But only when people depend on God alone and come to Him in prayer on His terms will they get the help that only God can give. Are you praying? Are you praying on His terms? Christmas Series: Give Glory to God

Transcript: And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the Highest. Hello I’m Sam Rohrer with the American Pastors Network and a glorious Stand in the Gap Minute. Just imagine the awesome sound of a choir of angels singing and praising God. If the angels could sing glory to God because His promised Plan was being fulfilled, then shouldn’t we who’ve been redeemed from the penalty of our sin, give glory to God for all He’s done for us? As the angel said, fear not, for I bring you good tidings of great joy which shall be to all people because this day, a Savior is born – Christ the LORD! Is Christ your Savior? Is He your LORD? Sing and give glory! Speak and give glory! Even better, live and give glory to God in your life. Would you stand with us and give glory to God all year? Christmas Series: Not Just a Cultural Holiday

Transcript: Will you celebrate Christmas as a religious event or a cultural holiday? According to Pew Research, while 9 in 10 Americans will celebrate Christmas, less than 5 in 10 will celebrate Christmas as a religious holiday. Hello, I’m Sam Rohrer of the American Pastors Network with another Stand in the Gap Minute. Certainly the culture’s attacked and undermined the importance of Christmas. The relentless effort to remove God from government and Christ from culture has taken its toll. But it’s possible for Christians themselves to be contributing this dreadful demise! Turning Christmas into a cultural celebration rather than a Christ-centered time of concentration is easy to do so be careful. If you know Jesus as Lord and Savior, make this year an intentional time of reflecting on the fact that Christmas is about a Person, not just an event.
