We are reminded to bring every emotion, including our darkest ones, to God in prayer. As we turn to God in every situation, he meets us and helps us endure.

We are encouraged to invite God in early in our decisions and put our hope in the right places. We are challenged to live rightly in all areas and set limits on what we accumulate. We are reminded that practices such as gratitude, giving and denying ourselves help us live with God’s purposes in mind and guard against self-absorption.
