We are encouraged to see the gifts God provides during our hardest seasons and remember the promise that God will one day make all things new. We are reminded to bring every emotion, including our darkest ones, to God in prayer. As we turn to God in every situation, he meets us and helps us endure.

We are reminded that practices such as gratitude, giving and denying ourselves help us live with God’s purposes in mind and guard against self-absorption.
