On July 20, 1969, the Lunar Module of Apollo 11 descended to the moon carrying astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin. Back on earth, the whole world watched with anticipation. All at NASA held their breath, including Charlie Duke who waited on the other end of the first moonwalkers' comms. Duke would later become the 10th and youngest person ever to walk on the moon. In Part I of this interview, Charlie and his wife, Dotty, share with us their years at NASA. Hear the inside scoop from them on all things Apollo: from training and working the control room to life as an astronaut's wife. For their testimony, check out Part II.
