April 7th | Sunday Sermon | The Encounter: Joyful Visitations

A journey through the Book of Luke

April 7, 2024 • Pastor Manoj Varughese • Luke

When was the last time you heard God speak to you? How will you respond to God if you haven't heard God speak for a long time, and suddenly He breaks the silence for you? Luke, in the first two chapters of his Gospel account, presents several people whose lives changed forever because God spoke to them in an unexpected place and manner.

During the next seventy days (10 weeks), we plan to read through the Gospel of Luke, and each week, we will receive weekly reading portions to help us stay focused.

May 12th | Sunday Sermon | The Encounter: The Prodigal Father

May 12, 2024 • Pastor Manoj Varughese • Luke

One of the most famous parables of Jesus is said to be the Prodigal Son story in Luke 15. The story is not so much about the lost son, but it is about the father who shows extravagant, lavish love to the sons - not just to the repentant one, but also to the elder son who is unwilling to accept his brother. This week, Pastor Manoj is preaching the sermon titled 'The Prodigal Father' based on Luke https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sjcivgmqyn0&t=911s-32.

April 28th | Sunday Sermon | The Encounter: Becoming True Neighbours

April 28, 2024 • Pastor Manoj Varughese

You must have heard the famous quote, “You can choose your friend, but you can’t choose your family.” What about choosing your neighbour? Well, Jesus was asked a question by an expert religious leader, “Who’s my neighbour?”. Instead of giving a one-word answer, Jesus told him a story that became popular as ‘the good Samaritan’ story. This week, Pastor Manoj is preaching a sermon titled Becoming True Neighbours based on Luke 10: 25-37.
