Transcript: The Bible’s more than a book; it’s God’s Holy Word. It’s infallible and God’s complete communication to mankind. In 2 Timothy 3:16, we read that all Scripture is inspired or literally “breathed out by God.” Do you want to know God’s communication to you? Hello, I’m Sam Rohrer with another Stand in the Gap Minute. By being God-breathed, God’s Word is all we need. It speaks to all issues of life. It’s where God tells us about sin and redemption. It’s where God instructs the wise, gives wisdom, guides us through the dark valleys and how to traverse the mountain tops. But, we have to read it, believe it and embrace it for us to understand God’s communication to us. Do you want to hear God’s will for you today? It’s not a mystery. Sadly, most people don’t know that in the Bible, there’re over 1400 references to weather. Most are directly linked to God communications of His blessing or judgment to mankind. He sends rain and sun at just the right times and in the right amounts as demonstrations of His favor. New Beginnings Series: Our Purpose in Christ

Transcript: Once identified in Christ, purified through Christ and possessing a Hope in Christ, true Believers are then known by their purpose in Christ. Winston Churchill once said, “It’s not enough to have lived. We should be determined to live for something.” Hello, I’m Sam Rohrer with another Stand in the Gap Minute. One of our deepest longings in life is to have purpose. Many seek temporal meaning pursuing work, money, or relationships, but God’s purpose for us has eternal meaning accompanied by physical evidence. First John 3:10 presents God’s purpose for us… live biblically and obediently and love our brothers and sisters in Christ. The greatest purpose in life is fulfilling our purpose in Christ which arises from our identity in Christ. When our purpose is to live righteously and be like Christ, to love the family of God and others like God has loved us, the world will be changed. New Beginnings Series: Our Hope in Christ

Transcript: What if in this New Year we lived our lives fully grasping the power of our identity in Christ as His Children and accessed the power of His Spirit in our lives? Hello, I’m Sam Rohrer with another Stand in the Gap Minute. It’s been said a person can live thirty days without food, three days without water, but only three seconds without hope. Hope’s the internal drive that leads us to believe there’s something better in the future. As children of God we have an exalted identity in Christ. We’re empowered by the Greatest Power through Christ. We’re also driven by the greatest hope, knowing we have eternity with God our Father the Lord of heaven and earth. Let’s not permit ourselves to become discouraged, distracted or deceived into believing there is no hope. I John 3:3 reminds us our hope is in the Lord.
