Jesus calls us sheep. And although being called a sheep may not be very flattering it does imply our need for a shepherd to protect us and guide us. Jesus is The Good Shepherd who laid his own life for us. He is also the door by which we may go and have fellowship with the Father.

It may seem like Jesus had just showed up on the scene during the time of the gospels but nothing could be more further than the truth. Jesus has always been on the scene though he may have had another name.

Because Jesus is the only way to salvation and the only way out of trouble, the antidote to a troubled heart is trust in Him. As Jesus dwells in us as the Father dwells in Jesus we will begin to do the same work that Jesus did; mainly, reveal the Father.
