Abide
January 16, 2022 • Josh Burt • Exodus 25, John 14, John 15, Hebrews 10:19–25
God, from the very beginning, desired that we might be with Him and that He might be with us. He has, from the very beginning, put in place a way for us to freely be with Him and have a relationship with Him. God, from the very beginning, desired to communion and tabernacle with His creation - and from the beginning we were made to enjoy and worship Him. These things are NOT new, have NOT changed, and free will was always given to us to be with Him. This Sunday we will take a look at a little bit of the Old Testament, a little bit of Jesus message, and a little bit of application to the Church today. God’s desire for us, God’s love for us, and God’s plan for redemption has never changed.
This Sunday we will take a look at the Tabernacle, the Words of Jesus, and the instruction of us as the Temple. We will look at the correlations seen throughout, the similarities throughout, and see how we are, as 1 Peter 2:9 says, “a Royal Priesthood.”
“Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up on meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another - and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” Hebrews 10:23-25
See you all this Sunday
