On the other side of spiritual malnourishment that stems from heresy is the power sanctity of sound doctrine. Sound doctrine is the bulwark against heresy within the body of Christ. And in today's message, we see this broken down in three ways - a common creed, a common confession, and a common commitment.

Just as physical malnourishment can cause the body to be weakened and waste away, spiritual malnourishment can cause the body of Christ to weaken and waste away as well. Spiritual malnourishment can come in many forms, but maybe most dangerously through false teachings and heresies. In this message, we look at maybe the most deceptive form of spiritual malnourishment in the church today - the Word of Faith movement.

A body without a head is just a lump of flesh with no usefulness and certainly no purpose. But as the body of Christ, with Jesus as the head of the body, we have all the purpose and usefulness we could ever want or need. With Christ as our head, we strive to think like him, see like him, speak like him, and live like him!
