In verses 7-10, we learn about our redemption, the forgiveness of our sins, the revelation of the mystery of Christ that we've received in the gospel, and how Christ's ultimate goal is to unite all things in himself.

In part 1 of our series on the book of Ephesians, we look at Paul's introduction in verses 1-2. Paul establishes that he's an apostle by the will of God, and we too, as saints, are products of the will of God. We begin by looking at three ways to discern God's will in our own lives, including God's word, through prayer, and by seeking wise counsel. We then consider the ramifications of being saints of God. As saints, we have been renewed by faith in God, we're recipients of the grace of God, and we are called to remain in the peace of God.
