Transcript: Today concludes this week’s focus on the whole armor of God. If we’re to stand against the devils schemes we must gird with Truth, then add a breastplate of Righteousness, Gospel shoes and the Shield of Faith. The salvation helmet adorns and protects. It’s the hope and joy of salvation giving confidence in battle and making life bearable in trials. Transcript: God warns and then He delivers. In Isaiah Chapter 5, the Prophet Isaiah proclaimed judgment on the Jerusalem of his day. His message was one of final judgment. No more warnings. No more time. Could his words be the final words of judgment on America? Hello I’m Sam Rohrer with the American Pastors Network and another Stand in the Gap Minute. In verse 24, God said, I’ll destroy your nation because you’ve rejected my commands, and despised My holy name. Therefore, My fearsome anger will come against you. I’ve warned and pleaded with you, but you’ve ignored my voice. In that day, Israel deserved God’s judgment – their sin was great. Their time was up. Shouldn’t we in America look in the mirror and consider our sins in light of Israel then? Idolatry; murder of the unborn; materialism; apathy; moral relativism; addictions of all types; bribery, corruption and arrogant indifference. In Deut. chapter 8, God told His people – I’ll give you a good land -with plenty of water and fertile ground. I’ll bless you with prosperity, wealth, and security. But - Beware… Be careful.. that you don’t forget from where your blessings came and that it was Me who gave you wealth and that it’s Me Who is your security. Be warned ---if you forget Me - and trust in yourselves, I’ll judge you for your idolatry and destroy you as I did the nations before you. He says that all people – everywhere -are without excuse since God’s Power, Justice, Authority, and just claim on mankind is proven through all Creation. And, when a person or nation becomes arrogant and rejects God, His Truth and morality, the culture races to the bottom. When a nation refuses Him, three things will happen: I will give them up to general immorality. I will give them up to vile affections and homosexuality. I will reject them and give them over to a reprobate mind that pursues evil, rejects good, and continues to sin even though they know God will judge their actions. Sound like America today?
