Transcript: In just a couple days, we’ll celebrate Mother’s Day and I trust you’ll do it whether you’re able to physically be with your mother or not. As children, let’s honor our moms by thanking God for them. As for moms you can honor God on your day by becoming more like the Prov. 31 woman: virtuous, excellent, trustworthy, responsible and disciplined, capable administrator, investor savvy, confident, compassionate, plans ahead, makes your husband look. The result? Your children will arise and call you blessed, and your husband will praise you. God’s plan for the home, the father, mother and children works the best when we do it. This Mother’s Day, let’s celebrate, honor, and re-commit ourselves to God’s plan for our moms, families and children. Transcript: Many people say they love God but really can’t because since they don’t know God’s love through Jesus Christ they can’t share what they don’t have. Equally impossible are others who say they love God but don’t do what He says. Hello, I’m Sam Rohrer with the American Pastors Network and another Stand in the Gap Minute. I John 5:3 says “For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments.” You see, loving God can be measured by keeping Gods commands. In other words, obedience to God’s word is the measure of ones love of God. Partial obedience – no love. Disobedience? No love. We simply can’t love God if we harbor sin in our hearts, choose to obey only part of what God says, or never read what He wrote. How about you? That means you and me and every person ever born or will be born. He loved so much that He willingly sent Jesus Christ to die for the sins of humankind. Since God so loved the world, have you acknowledged His love, embraced Jesus Christ as God’s love and only Way to eternal life? If so, do you love others as God does and at least sharing this good news of God’s love with others? If not, why not? Remember, you can’t share what you don’t have. Transcript: Do you know what it means to love? Many people say they love God, but don’t do what God says or know what God loves. It’s time we understand. Hello, I’m Sam Rohrer with the American Pastors Network and another Stand in the Gap Minute. In I John 4:8, the Bible says that God is love. This kind of love is unique. It’s agape love. The type of self-sacrificing love that’s demonstrated by God Himself who loved the world so much He sent His only Son -Jesus Christ – to die for our sins as a perfect sacrifice – demonstrating that God is truly the standard setter for true love. Loving God and others with this kind of love is only possible after personally experiencing God’s love by trusting in Jesus Christ. Can you truly love God?
