Ruth: Hard Life Good God - If we are honest, many of us respond to the trials of life like a toddler screaming for their night light at bedtime, we simply hate the darkness. When you’ve been thrown into the furnace and the temperature of life is turned all the way up, it is not uncommon to find yourself asking this question: God, are you still good? You are not alone.

Our new sermon series comes from the book of Ruth and is titled Hard Life Good God, we will meet two women named Naomi & Ruth who know what it’s like to be hard-pressed on every side. They seemingly lost it all, their spouses, children, and financial security and yet what they gained was far greater than all that they lost. They gained the presence of a God who remains good even when life is not. In Christ, we have a savior whose hardest and darkest day brought about our eternal good. Christ’s pain had a purpose and so does yours.
