Following Christ is not for the feint of heart. There can be times of trouble and hardship. Persecution can happen in a number of ways because we are living is a world that is increasingly hostile to the gospel. Bringing comfort to others can mean binding up physical wounds but also emotional wounds as well. Listening to people's stories and praying alongside of people is a great way to bring the Lord's comfort to them.
