Part of the Family

Romans 8:14-17

November 28, 2021 • Desmond Outlaw

In First John 3:10, the Apostle reminds us that there are two families to which everyone belongs: the family of God or the family of Satan. Entrance into this new family results in several blessings, including a new Father, a new identity, a new life, and a new inheritance. As we look to Romans 8:14-17, the Apostle Paul highlights the role of the Spirit in this process of spiritual adoption and highlights four aspects of the believer's ongoing sonship.
