Do You Have A Mustard Seed?

November 5, 2017 • Anne Trufant

Even though it’s one of the smallest seeds, the trees can grow up to 20 feet tall and 20 feet wide. The tree can grow in arid, dry climates and thrive in all kinds of soil. So we can see the mustard seed as a symbol of our faith that can be tested in “dry times” and the most difficult of circumstances. Even if the tree is cut down to the trunk, it can grow back again. In this Focus show, Anne teaches us that mustard seed faith is that even during times of “pruning” we can overcome and come back stronger than ever just like the mustard tree that’s been severly pruned if only a little bit of faith remains. Over and over Anne reminds us that even when we are planted in poor soil we can still grow even if we have a smalll amount of faith. So get the faith of a mustard seed and don’t be afraid to use it!
