After a busy day of healing people, Jesus instructs His disciples to pray for laborers to be thrust into the harvest field. The Apostle Paul would pick up this them in 2 Corinthians 5 clarifying our message to be one of reconciliation. We may not be called to a foreign frontier, but we are called to cross the street. Christ in Us is the power to go, love others and demonstrate the supernatural power of God.

It's possible to view Holy Spirit as Yoda, Santa Claus or some "power" we plug into. He is none of those things. John, one of Jesus' disciples, infamously asked Jesus to call down fire from heaven onto the people he didn't like. This man of racism and prejudice would later write passionately about loving God and loving others. Clearly his time with Jesus, a man of love, had a profound impaact on his life. John writes in 1 John 4:19 - "We love because He (God) loved us first." The power to love God comes from our decision to surrender to Jesus and walk in His ability to love others.
