1. Embrace the ways and teachings of Jesus as far greater than our own opinion.

2. Embrace the next generation as more important than our own generation.

3. Embrace Jesus' nudge to serve others as opportunities, not annoyances.

Worry

All of us have struggled with worry and/or anxiety. In fact, worry, anxiety, nervousness, dread and fear are on the rise in our culture. What can we do to combat worry? The book of Philippians provides us with two important truths to keep at the forefront of our minds when worry arises: 1. We have a God who is willing to listen and able to help. Pray -- God will listen and He will answer in a way that is consistent with His will and compassionate toward us. 2. We have better things to think about. Paul avoided worry by focusing his thoughts on Jesus, Heaven, and others. We can do the same.

Unity: At the Table

A lot of things happened at the Last Supper, but two things are often overlooked. After Judas left, Jesus prayed for the Church to be united. He did this because when we are united, we can make a greater impact in the Kingdom of God, together. The 11 remaining disciples were all very different, but all were invited to the table. What happened at the table united them. May we be reminded that all people are welcome at the table with Jesus.

Grace: Salvation
