THANKSGIVING SERVICE

Happy Thanksgiving!

November 26, 2026
10:00am - 12:00pm

"...giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ" (Ephesians 5:20).

Heartfelt gratitude to the Lord is one of the most critical indicators of a healthy Christian life. Every day, we receive countless blessings from God that we don't deserve, and the only reason is God's character—His generous and loving heart. Our genuine gratitude for His blessings is the only proper response when we look and see the reality of the world around us.

Unfortunately, most people, including Christians, often take these blessings for granted and incorrectly assume that God is obligated to bless and care for us. This attitude shifts as His Spirit fills us and we humble ourselves before God. This is the exact context of the apostle Paul's words mentioned above. Upon entering our lives, the Holy Spirit transforms our hearts and fills them with the proper reverence toward God.

This is precisely why we gather as a church on Thanksgiving Day. We open our hearts to God's work, pray, worship through song, listen to His Word, and offer ourselves to Him. May He enrich us with His presence and make us truly grateful!

Pastor Aleksey Kolomiytsev will deliver the sermon.

There will be a presentation of our new church members during the Thanksgiving Service as well..
