John 3:16 is likely the most well-known verse in scripture but looking at the context of this verse gives it even more richness. In verses 1-15 we read of Jesus' interaction with Nicodemus and the timeless truths Jesus shares with him. We see a beautiful balance of truth and love demonstrated by Jesus. We also see how our ultimate worth is revealed by Christ’s sacrificial love for us.
