Consider Others, Philippians 2:1-11

December 31, 2017 • Kevin Feldotto

Unity is something we long for but often fail to achieve. In Philippians 2, Paul demonstrates how unity is achieved through serving one another. He then points to the ultimate example, Jesus Christ. 1. Unity through Humility (vs. 1-4) 2. Humility in Action (vs. 5-11) Songs: This Is Amazing Grace #6333821 by J Farro, J Riddle, and P Wickham 2012 Bethel Music Stronger #5060810 by B Fielding and R Morgan 2007 Hillsong Publishing God With Us #6460237 by L Jordan 2012 Open Hands Music and Integrity's Praise! Looking Behind, Numbers 14:1-12

December 31, 2017 • Tyler Woolley

After the craziness of Christmas comes a new year. Some see it as a chance to start fresh, write new resolutions and goals. Others can see it as a continuation of an already hard season. When we enter a season where our faith in God does not come easily, it’s important to know where to look to be reminded of the goodness and faithfulness of God. That place may not always be forward. Sometimes we need to look back at what the Lord has already done. 1. The Loss of Faith (vs. 1-4) Getting to a place where you can move into the unknown 2. The Words of the Wise (vs 5-9) Regaining perspective when facing hard things 3. Looking back (vs. 10-12) Remembering God’s faithfulness Songs: This Is Amazing Grace #6333821 by J Farro, J Riddle, and P Wickham 2012 Bethel Music Stronger #5060810 by B Fielding and R Morgan 2007 Hillsong Publishing God With Us #6460237 by L Jordan 2012 Open Hands Music and Integrity's Praise! A Hope Restored, 1 Kings 19:1-18

December 31, 2017 • Matt Ferrell

The prophet Elijah was despondent. He had just seen God move in power, but his life is threatened instead of responding in faith, he immediately flees – essentially quitting the ministry. Elijah runs to the same mountain where God appeared to Moses and hopes for God to show up in a great display of power again. God shows up. But in ways that are both undeserving and unexpected. God tells Elijah; I am working a plan that you can’t even see yet, you are not alone, live out your hope and trust in me! A HOPE LOST (vs. 1-8) We experience the grace of God in ways we don’t deserve A HOPE RESTORED (vs. 9-13a) We see the power of God in ways we don’t expect A HOPE LIVED (vs. 13b-18) We trust the promises of God in ways we don’t yet fully see Songs: This Is Amazing Grace #6333821 by J Farro, J Riddle, and P Wickham 2012 Bethel Music Stronger #5060810 by B Fielding and R Morgan 2007 Hillsong Publishing God With Us #6460237 by L Jordan 2012 Open Hands Music and Integrity's Praise!
