Israel failed to receive God's blessings in an epic way. God's blessings were right in front of them for the taking instead, they decided to blend in with the culture and worshipped other gods, forgetting their own until they absolutely needed Him. But God was faithful to keep His covenant and work His plan in spite of their disobedience.
