With the original recipient of this Gospel, Theophilus we are entering into Luke's account of Jesus' life starting with the events that preceded Jesus' birth. In this message, we look at the birth pronouncements of John the Baptist and Jesus, two ways of responding to God, and Luke's invitation to us. As we consider God's promises this Advent, Luke calls us to rejoice with certainty in the person and work of Jesus.
