During the LDS General Conference of October 2023 stood several "friendly" Christian anti Mormons sitting outside the LDS Conference center with signs encouraging Mormons to engage in loving conversations over doctrinal beliefs. David, who was raised LDS, asked several key questions and the answers he received gave him a lot to think about. This video covers: 1.) What do Christians think of Mormons, 2. ) What do Christians think of the Book of Mormon? 3.) What do Christians think of Preexistence? 4.) What do Christians think of the Mormon view of Exaltation? 5.) What do Christians think of LDS Temples?
Does the Church Blame Jesus for Joseph Smiths Fake Translation?
September 30, 2023 • Christy Darlington
Joseph Smith claimed he translated the Book of Abraham (one of the four Mormon books of "scripture") from ancient Egyptian papyrus manuscripts obtained from Michael Chandler, an antiquities dealer visiting Smith's area in 1835. Egyptologists today have since examined Joseph Smith's "translation" of the text and found it to be completely false, with no reference whatsoever to the original meaning of the text. His inability to accurately translate these documents, puts into question Joseph Smith's ability to translate any document at all, even the Book of Mormon which he claims he translated from Reformed Egyptian plates.
If he couldn't accurately translate the Egyptian papyrus of the Book of Abraham, how do you know you can trust anything else he has created? What's worse is instead of admitting to Joseph Smith's fraud with the Book of Abraham, the LDS Church blames Jesus for his fake translation and claims "God gave to Joseph Smith a revelation about the life of Abraham, even if that revelation did not directly correlate to the characters on the papyri." (Translation and Historicity of the Book of Abraham) So the excuses for Joseph Smith’s lies continue to abound in Mormonism.

Ed Turns Confrontational Mormon Debates Into Friendly Discussions
April 7, 2024
Talking to returned Mormon missionaries all hyped up from their missions can be a challenge when they approach us on the street with their debate arguments ready for confrontation. Prideful attitudes in discussions, rarely create open doors for true heart-to-heart seed planting, so when Dustin the Mormon approached us for a second day of debating and brought a friend to video the encounter, we braced for a strong confrontation.
However, to our surprise Ed took the debate on from a different angel, discussing a mutual experience he and they both had debating atheists at different events. This approach was much less confrontational, since Mormons actual love Christian arguments on the viability of Jesus' life, death, resurrection and the gospel. So, turning the confrontation from a debate into a friendly exchange of ideas, was the ticket to better communication between these dear Mormon young men and our team.
Listen as Ed shares is experience talking with Dustin this second day of the Spring 2024 LDS General Conference.
An Agnostic Questions Christy On Why Salvation is Not in a Church
April 7, 2024 • Christy Darlington
When I was out in Utah for the 2024 Spring LDS General Conference, I (Christy) was interviewed by Ben, a reporter for The Free Press, regarding why I and our volunteer team were out witnessing to Mormons on the streets of Salt Lake City. Several questions he asked provided a great opportunity to present why the true Biblical Gospel rivals the "restored gospel" of Mormonism and any other religious group that promotes their "works" as a requirement for salvation.
