Was the Apostle Paul Saved by Grace or By Works?

QUESTION FOR MORMONS: "Was the Apostle Paul Saved by Grace or By Works?" The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints teaches that a person must perform a number of different works in order to attain to the highest level of heaven. It is claimed that some of the most important works a person must do in order to enter the highest level of the Celestial Kingdom are: Obtaining Temple Endowments, Males being ordained to the Aaronic and Melchizedek priesthoods, performing baptism for the dead and being married for time and eternity. Yet, the Apostle Paul performed none of these tasks. Instead he taught: TITUS 3:5: "Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;" EPHESIANS 2:8-9: "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." ROMANS 11:6: "And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work."
