Did Joseph Smith Change God's Covenant?

Mainstream Mormonism's Questions for Mormons

QUESTION FOR MORMONS: Did Joseph Smith Change God's Covenant? In 1831, Joseph Smith began his alleged "translation" of the Bible. Published as the "Joseph Smith Translation" or the "Inspired Version of the Bible," scholars have struggled in vain to find any connection between the changes that Joseph Smith made to his version of the Bible and the ancient Biblical manuscripts. Further study reveals that not only do these changes disagree with ancient manuscripts, but they disagree with ancient traditions and Biblical practices that are well-known and documented even to this day. One such change made by Joseph Smith at Genesis 17:11 questions the fundamental premise of the Abrahamic Covenant that God made with Israel, requiring "circumcision" of all male children at "8 days," not "8 years," as Joseph Smith changed it in his translation. Is it possible that all of God's Prophets and even Jesus Himself, performed "circumcision" wrong for 3,000 years until Joseph Smith came on the scene and re-translated God's Covenant? Or do the facts speak for themselves that Joseph Smith was a false "prophet" who was "inspired" by Satan to mislead God's people through his fake "revelations"? This video is taken from the Mainstream Mormonism Radio Program entitled, "The Joseph Smith Translation of the Bible Confirms He Was a False Prophet."
