In the Biblical temple, there were no baptisms for the dead, no secret handshakes, no marriage sealings and no priesthood Masonic handshakes. The rituals in the Biblical temple concerned the offering of animal sacrifices to atone for sin until Jesus’ blood permanently atoned for our sins. There is nothing in the Mormon temple today that even remotely resembles the Biblical temple. Yet, the Mormon Church claims that their temples “restore” the Biblical temple. That is simply a lie!
