Stewardship *1Pe 4:10 As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace:* Intro: Explain Stewardship (A king and his steward) Things We Steward: Children Money TIme Leadership (influence) Grace and Mercy Creation Resources *Dan 4:25 that you shall be driven from among men, and your dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field. You shall be made to eat grass like an ox, and you shall be wet with the dew of heaven, and seven periods of time shall pass over you, till you know that the Most High rules the kingdom of men and gives it to whom he will.* *Dan 4:28 All this came upon King Nebuchadnezzar.* *Dan 4:29 At the end of twelve months he was walking on the roof of the royal palace of Babylon,* *Dan 4:30 and the king answered and said, “Is not this great Babylon, which I have built by my mighty power as a royal residence and for the glory of my majesty?”* *Dan 4:31 While the words were still in the king's mouth, there fell a voice from heaven, “O King Nebuchadnezzar, to you it is spoken: The kingdom has departed from you,* *Dan 4:32 and you shall be driven from among men, and your dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field. And you shall be made to eat grass like an ox, and seven periods of time shall pass over you, until you know that the Most High rules the kingdom of men and gives it to whom he will.”* *Dan 4:33 Immediately the word was fulfilled against Nebuchadnezzar. He was driven from among men and ate grass like an ox, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven till his hair grew as long as eagles' feathers, and his nails were like birds' claws.* *Dan 5:21 He was driven from among the children of mankind, and his mind was made like that of a beast, and his dwelling was with the wild donkeys. He was fed grass like an ox, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven, until he knew that the Most High God rules the kingdom of mankind and sets over it whom he will. Dan 5:22 And you his son, Belshazzar, have not humbled your heart, though you knew all this, Dan 5:23 but you have lifted up yourself against the Lord of heaven. And the vessels of his house have been brought in before you, and you and your lords, your wives, and your concubines have drunk wine from them. And you have praised the gods of silver and gold, of bronze, iron, wood, and stone, which do not see or hear or know, but the God in whose hand is your breath, and whose are all your ways, you have not honored.* Nothing you have is yours. It’s all lended A- Success is a blessing from God B- Talent or skills C. Prosperity Use it wisely or lose it Acknowledge the giver

"Called Out to Speak Out"

"Called Out to Speak Out" Last week, Called Out To Stand Out! Its not just enough to stand out! We must speak out! What are you doing to influence the life of those around you? *Power of Influence *John 1:33 - 37 * John had spent a large amount of time with these two men. Building a relationship with them. * Just by the testimony of John the Baptist, two men followed Christ. Those we influence through connections and relationships. * Family * Friends * Co-workers * How are you influencing those that are around you? *Taking the Gospel to others. Speak Truth* The story of the Samaritan Women John 4 * Jesus speaks truth to her. John 4:13 Relate to relationships and stand out, speak out. Speak Truth can be: * The Gospel * Accountability John 4:16 (Funny) All this is so others can have an encounter with Jesus *Encounter with Jesus* John 1:42 Encounter with Jesus Just like the woman at the well. Andrew to Peter Changed everything about Peter !Be Gods mouth piece! You don't have to be a preacher to have a crowd follow you. Look at the woman! John 4:39 - 41 Many Samaritans God has called us to speak out! So others may come to know Him. *Tangible people! Testimony In both stories the beginning was about the testamony but the end was about the experience. * Challenge John 4:42

"Called Out to Stand Out" *Joh 12:41 Isaiah said these things because he saw his glory and spoke of him.* *Joh 12:42 Nevertheless, many even of the authorities, believed in him, but for fear of the Pharisees they did not confess it, so that they would not be put out of the synagogue; Joh 12:43 for they loved the glory that comes from man more than the glory that comes from God.* Real Faith (confession of mouth and of life) Transparent Radical living (money, contentment, relationships) Stranger in the world (if you fit in you probably are in) Impacts- Rejection- People will feel conviction if authentic faith is confessed Relational change (enemy places people in our lives and our best defense is confession) Results- Confessions furthers the kingdom (John the Baptist) Fruitful relationships Matthew 5 Inheritance of the Kingdom You have been called out to stand out What has your confession looked like?
