*Intro:* The heart in the Bible made up of three things (physical, emotional and spirit)
The heart is all three in one. The core of who you are.

*Who you are directs where you go*
Pro 4:18 But the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, which shines brighter and brighter until full day.
Pro 4:19 The way of the wicked is like deep darkness; they do not know over what they stumble.
Pro 4:20 My son, be attentive to my words; incline your ear to my sayings.
Pro 4:21 Let them not escape from your sight; keep them within your heart.
Pro 4:22 For they are life to those who find them, and healing to all their flesh.
Pro 4:23 Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life.

*Corruption of the Core*
1Sa 25:37 In the morning, when the wine had gone out of Nabal, his wife told him these things, and his heart died within him, and he became as a stone.
1Sa 25:38 And about ten days later the LORD struck Nabal, and he died

-Behavior
-Apathy
-Failed attempts to change
-Rule following

Rom 10:9 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

*What is true Condition of your heart (core)?*
*Salvation of the Core or convenience?*

Test-
Marketing shouldn’t be needed
Teaching repeated truths shouldn’t be needed
Motivation should be constant and not wavering

Have you quit? Have you given up? Is your heart like stone?
