Honor IX Order

*Honor IX “From Chaos to Order”*

1Co 14:26 What then, brothers? When you come together, each one has a hymn, a lesson, a revelation, a tongue, or an interpretation. Let all things be done for building up.
1Co 14:33 For God is not a God of confusion but of peace.
1Co 14:40 But all things should be done decently and in order.

*Intro:* Building something without instructions generally ends up wrong and you have to teardown and redo. Order is the opposite of Chaos-Absence of order

*1. Everything has an order-*

1. When order is broken the enemy moves in through confusion
2. Examples- Relational issues, Church Service, Truth telling vs passive aggressiveness

3. Men and Women

*2. Confusion =Chaos / Order = Peace*

1. Commitment Chaos vs. Order in Consistency
2. Financial Chaos Vs Order in a budget
3. Family Chaos Vs Order in God’s Word
4. Spiritual Chaos vs. Order in Routinely seeking God

*3. Creating and maintaining order:*

1. It takes blind faith - you have to go against culture (which feels wrong) and go with God
2. It takes perseverance - The teardown (consequences) are frustrating as we rebuild
3. It takes a “have to” attitude- Creating order from chaos will not happen without resolve

Step 1- Read God’s Word, seek Godly counsel
Step 2- Do what it says no matter what
Step 3- trust God and see God

*Conclusion:*
Life does not have to be chaotic- we serve a God of peace-
