Act 4:32 Now the full number of those who believed were of one heart and soul, and no one said that any of the things that belonged to him was his own, but they had everything in common.

2. Blood Family are completely transparent (grace in community)

Pride stops us from presenting needs of ours to others
The whole purpose of the gathering of our family is to walk with one another.
You need a “know it all” in your life, You need a life group to walk with you

3. Blood Family are responsible to each other
Act 4:34 There was not a needy person among them, for as many as were owners of lands or houses sold them and brought the proceeds of what was sold

Galatians 6:2 -Bear one another burdens…
They saw each others problems as their own (Alcoholic teenager Illus.)
What would it change in our church if you truly were burdened for brothers and sisters in christ?
Our selfishness stops us from being to others what we should.

4. Blood Family trust the church
Act 4:35 and laid it at the apostles' feet, and it was distributed to each as any had need.

I believe in Jesus and I believe in the church.
The church has done things in the past that cause people to have distrust
This happens when you leave scripture and hold to the traditions of men

Conclusion:
-examine your hearts. How do you feel about those around you in this congregation?
-Isolation is not an option in family. (Little house illus.)
