*Values Determine Direction II “Purposefully Connected”

*Act 9:26* And when he had come to Jerusalem, he attempted to join the disciples. And they were all afraid of him, for they did not believe that he was a disciple. *Act 9:27* But Barnabas took him and brought him to the apostles and declared to them how on the road he had seen the Lord, who spoke to him, and how at Damascus he had preached boldly in the name of Jesus. *Act 9:28* So he went in and out among them at Jerusalem, preaching boldly in the name of the Lord *Act 9:29* And he spoke and disputed against the Hellenists. But they were seeking to kill him. *Act 9:30* And when the brothers learned this, they brought him down to Caesarea and sent him off to Tarsus.

*Act 11:22* The report of this came to the ears of the church in Jerusalem, and they sent Barnabas to Antioch. *Act 11:23* When he came and saw the grace of God, he was glad, and he exhorted them all to remain faithful to the Lord with steadfast purpose, *Act 11:24* for he was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and of faith. And a great many people were added to the Lord. *Act 11:25* So Barnabas went to Tarsus to look for Saul,

*Act 13:13* Now Paul and his companions set sail from Paphos and came to Perga in Pamphylia. And John left them and returned to Jerusalem,

*Act 16:1* Paul came also to Derbe and to Lystra. A disciple was there, named Timothy, the son of a Jewish woman who was a believer, but his father was a Greek. *Act 16:2* He was well spoken of by the brothers at Lystra and Iconium. *Act 16:3* Paul wanted Timothy to accompany him, and he took him and circumcised him because of the Jews who were in those places, for they all knew that his father was a Greek.

*1Ti 1:1* Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by command of God our Savior and of Christ Jesus our hope,
*1Ti 1:2* To Timothy, my true child in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord. *1Ti 1:3* As I urged you when I was going to Macedonia, remain at Ephesus so that you may charge certain persons not to teach any different doctrine,

*1Ti 1:18* This charge I entrust to you, Timothy, my child, in accordance with the prophecies previously made about you, that by them you may wage the good warfare,

*1Ti 6:20* O Timothy, guard the deposit entrusted to you. Avoid the irreverent babble and contradictions of what is falsely called “knowledge,”
