You can be a part of relieving the suffering of hungry people by joining us for our PACKHOPE Experience on Friday, October 28 or Saturday, October 29. Willowdale is partnering with Unto®, the humanitarian ministry of Cru®, to pack food and aid for people in Peru and East Africa. This will be a family-friendly event and will make a significant difference in the lives of families living in the toughest places on earth. As part of this experience, you also will participate in an exercise called "Below the Line," a poverty simulation. The desire of this exercise is to help us understand some of the struggles and choices actual families might need to make to survive and hopefully flourish in hard locations around the world. You will have an opportunity to hear from partner, Unto®, about some of the various forms of humanitarian aid they support.
