Every person has unique, God-given abilities that they develop throughout the course of their lives. When we become Christians, God gives us special abilities to be used for specific purposes. The Bible called them spiritual gifts.

The Benefits of Serving God

Serving God leads to protection, blessing, honor, love, and accountability. It just comes down to a decision. "As for me and my household, we will serve the Lord." - Joshua 24:15

Purpose

The right way to approach life is to make our whole lives an act of service to God. We give Him everything and keep reminding ourselves that He is in control.
