When times of suffering and pain inevitably come, we can remember that our perspective is not infinite, only God’s is (Job) and that Jesus has shown himself to truly be the Savior and Messiah (John the Baptist in Matthew 11) who meets us in our suffering and promises to redeem it.
Failures of Church & Leaders

When we see the inevitable failures of the church and its leaders, we can remember that sinful people prone to mistakes and failure have always been part of God’s family, and while we can and should learn to do better, the focus of our faith should always be the Good Shepherd.
