When the Fall took it's full effect, humanity was subjected to corruption and came into a broken fellowship with God. Additionally, our faith and our conduct came to be in perpetual conflict with each other. But, in a saving relationship with Christ, these things can be integrated and harmonized with each other. As a result, the Christian's behavior will confirm their belief.

As church members, we are called to live a life of faithful consistency in our service and our fellowship.

To live a totally "integrated" life, our faith and our conduct must be cohesive in the work place and in our place of study. That means that our duty to work or study worshipfully is consistent with our performance. Are we as faithful believers in Christ taking this seriously?

With the story of Cornelius and the Apostle Peter, we see a man growing closer and closer to knowing Jesus, while also exhibiting the kind of characteristics a Christian should strive for in regards to their home. Cornelius, in welcoming Peter, was open and inviting. Even more, he was willing to learn. Will we as Christians see Cornelius' example and be open to such hospitality?
