If we, as Christians, are to reflect Christ in our lives, we must not be content with just reflecting Him in a few areas of life. Christ demands that our whole selves reflect Him; that we may be holy with our spirits, our souls, and our bodies.

With the story of Cornelius and the Apostle Peter, we see a man growing closer and closer to knowing Jesus, while also exhibiting the kind of characteristics a Christian should strive for in regards to their home. Cornelius, in welcoming Peter, was open and inviting. Even more, he was willing to learn. Will we as Christians see Cornelius' example and be open to such hospitality?

When the Fall took it's full effect, humanity was subjected to corruption and came into a broken fellowship with God. Additionally, our faith and our conduct came to be in perpetual conflict with each other. But, in a saving relationship with Christ, these things can be integrated and harmonized with each other. As a result, the Christian's behavior will confirm their belief.
