Jesus teaches us to ask God for our daily bread. Asking God for the things we need is an important part of our prayer life, but it should never be the only thing we pray about. God knows what we need and he finds joy in being our provider.
The last two themes we explore in our series on prayer are confession (Psalm 51) and thanksgiving (Psalm 107).
Jesus teaches us to pray for God's Kingdom to come and God's will to be done. This is an important reminder to worship God as our one true king.
