Fables, Stables, & Tables

Christmas 2023

Love

December 31, 2023 • Pastor Paul Smith • Matthew 2:1–12

In the final message of our Christmas series we look at the story of the Magi (Wise Men) who came to visit Jesus. These late arrivals to Jesus birth are connected to an Old Testament story of unplanned plans of God to bring about what He desires in the world and teach us the importance of counting up to preparations and gifts for the holiday season.

Traditional Christmas Eve Service

December 24, 2023

This morning's service is a mix of traditional carols and newer songs, a reading of the Christmas story, and candle lighting.

Joy

December 17, 2023 • Pastor Paul Smith • Luke 2:1–20

In the third week of advent we look at Jesus' birth story in Luke to see how for Mary and Joseph these were downcast days, the Shepherd's thought they had seen their glory days, and the angels called groups into gathering days. No matter what kid of "day" you are in, the Christmas story shows us that we can have supernatural joy.

Peace

December 10, 2023 • Pastor Paul Smith • Matthew 1:18–25

This week we look at the Christmas story from Joseph's perspective where a crisis prompts a dream which produces a response of peace despite difficult circumstances.
