West Lawn's Women's Ministry is excited to offer a breakfast event, featuring guest speaker, Marie Monville, on Saturday, September 14.
In 2006, Marie's then husband committed the Amish Schoolhouse shooting, and, very quickly, she faced loss and brokenness and leaned into faith and her relationship with God to persevere. Since then, she's deepened her resolve that our circumstances are not the definition of our lives. Marie strongly believes that no matter what we face, we can still cultivate a life we love.
"I empower women to overcome obstacles, shift their mindset, and build a strong relationship with God so they can silence self-doubt, and live with purpose," adds Marie.
"Courageous Faith" will be Marie's topic for her presentation. During our morning together, Marie will share her story of how God allowed her to walk through significant hardship, and that path became her destiny. She had to lay aside preconceived ideas and see herself from God's perspective. Like Esther in the Bible, Marie will share with us how we can discover our hidden strengths, grace, faith, and determination. And, similar to Esther's journey, we will be guided to uncover God's plan for our lives and the impact we can make in the world.
