God wants to be with his people, and so he gives them access to his space in this mobile temple that they can carry around with them. It’s a symbol of God’s true heavenly temple, but it’s more than a mere symbol.
God has always wanted to dwell among his people. The Tabernacle is part of the story of God’s presence, but what we have now is so much better.
