As kids we may have learned the saying “sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me.” This sentiment couldn’t be further from the truth. Words can hurt. But words from a Christian shouldn’t hurt, they should build up.
When we have truly been changed by Christ our words reflect the new life. Specifically, we are more prone to gratitude and praise.
