SESSION 1: Saturday, January 10 – Shepherding Your People Workshop. From 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m! (INTERNAL ONLY)
Description: This interactive workshop equips lay leaders, ministry staff, and care volunteers to shepherd others through pain and trauma with greater wisdom, empathy, and skill. Teresa Glantz, a trauma-informed ministry leader and Nothing is Wasted Coaching Director, will help participants develop a biblical framework for walking with people through grief, loss, and life transitions.
SESSION 2: Sunday, January 11th. Sunday morning service @ 10:30AM. Davey Blackburn will be speaking during our service with a message titled, God Doesn't Waste Your Pain out of Psalm 23.
SESSION 3: Sunday Evening, January 11th– Pain to Purpose Workshop, led by Davey Blackburn from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. (OPEN TO ALL)
Description: This two-hour evening workshop takes a deeper dive into the biblical and practical framework of how God uses our pain for purpose. Attendees will learn how to begin moving from woundedness to healing by partnering with God to redeem their stories. The workshop introduces key principles from the Pain to Purpose Course and invites participants to take their next step in healing.
SESSION 4: Healing Leader Roundtable, Monday January 12th from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Led by Davey Blackburn, Ken Roberts, Teresa Glantz, and NIW Team. (OPEN TO ALL CHURCH LEADERS, STAFF, ETC. IN OUR COMMUNITY AND BEYOND)
Description: A one-day interactive leadership experience designed for senior pastors, executive pastors, discipleship and care pastors, and other ministry decision-makers. This roundtable explores the importance of creating biblically centered, Spirit-empowered, trauma-informed church environments that help people heal and thrive. Through teaching, conversation, and collaborative discussion, leaders will discover how cultivating wholeness within themselves and their staff leads to healthier, more effective ministry to their congregations.
